Allegra Battle Johnson - (Local News) is a news and entertainment blogger and freelance journalist.  She began her career as morning news anchor for WAMO FM in Pittsburgh, A.  Allegra has been nominated for her achievement in radio by the March of Dimes A.I.R Awards.  Within her 10 years of radio, television and print news experience, Allegra has covered major news and entertainment events in Pittsburgh and Washington, DC.  Allegra holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalist from Howard University.  She currently lives in Pittsburgh, PA with her husband and daughter. allegra@urbanmediatoday.co.m
 
 
JC Coulter - Sports  is the owner of three sports themed barber shops in Northeastern Ohio and is a full-time barber in Wellsville, OH. JC obtained his accelerated Bachelor’s Degree in Communications majoring in Journalism from Youngstown State University In May 2011. He has been active in sports since the age of 5 beginning by playing Pop Warner league for the Southern Local Little Indians in eastern Ohio. He has also been involved in the formation and marketing of the Semi-Pro football team The Canton Hurricanes as well as promotions/sales/marketing for The Cleveland Cavaliers, former heavyweight champion boxer Kelly Pavlick, The Las Vegas 51s (Los Angeles Dodgers AAA affiliate), the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians AAA affiliate), coached little league baseball and peewee football in the Akron area, as well as refereeing charity basketball games.  JC@urbanmediatoday.com
 


 

 

Raymond D. Porter, Jr. (Sports) is an avid sports fan with a strong knowledge and appreciation of sports history. Nancy Hart (features and news) is a graduate of Duquesne University with experience in freelance writing, editing and graphic design.  A previous winner of a Los Angeles Times’ award for student journalism, Hart credits her ability to find the details in a story to her “Pittsburgh nebbiness.” She is an active volunteer for many community organizations including Junior Achievement, the Pittsburgh Area Slovak Folk Ensemble (PÁS) and schools attended by her four children

 

 

Lynn Johnson is the Youth Contributor for Urban Media Today. She will be starting her senior year at Valley High School in New Kensington. An A student, Lynn is also a member of JROTC and the Public Affair NCO.   Holding a part time job at McDonalds still leaves her enough time to show her artistic side at the Steelers home games. Lynn paints faces before all the home games and then gets to watch the game. She plans on joining the Army where she wants to work in the administrative area. After serving her country, her dreams are to go to an historical black college to major in elementary education. Ashley Lombardozzi (Sports Contributor)   is a big fan of all sports.   As a contributor, she searches and finds interesting sport stories for UrbanSports Today.com. Lombardozzi also serves at Director of Marketing for MAA & Associates, LLC and its divisions. Ashley obtained her Bachelors Degree from Youngstown State University in Marketing and Management in the Spring of 2009. Mary Jo Needham (CFO/Contributor) has over twenty years of accounting experience and has been a CPA since 1986. Ms. Needham holds a CPA licenses in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.   She has held various financial positions including being the Chief Financial Officer at Propel Charter Schools, Inc., a developer and operator of charter schools in Western Pennsylvania. Currently Needham serves as CFO for MAA & Associates, LLC and its divisions as well as President of MAA. Katie  Hilliard (graphic arts) is the graphic artist for UrbanMediaToday.com.  She has been doing graphic design for over 4 years.  She started out helping her father at his Print Shop in Zelienople, PA.  Katie graduated from Westminster College in New Wilmington PA in 2008 with a BA in Art Technology. Mr. Lincoln’s management, sales and marketing experience gained him national recognition. He was listed in "Who's Who in Media and Communications". He won “General Manager of the Year” for Radio Ink Magazine, the national trade publication. Later, he received the National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Urban Station of the Year Award – the broadcasting industry’s highest award.
